The Avon Breast Cancer Crusade started in the UK in 1992 with the sole aim of making a difference to women’s lives everywhere. Working closely with breakthrough By the end of 2006 an amazing £13 million had been raised for breast cancer charities and our commitment remains as strong as ever.Today, more than 50 Avon countries are part of the Crusade and Representatives, customers and staff have raised a staggering $450 million for research, education, awareness, treatment and aftercare.Here in the UK, we have also been involved in several major campaigns to raise awareness of the importance of being breast aware while raising money at the same time. Starlight Children's Foundation (grant a wish)
Starlight Children's Foundation brightens the lives of seriously and terminally ill Children in order to take their minds off the pain, fear and isolation of their illness.
Wish granting has remained the heart of Starlight's work. A Starlight wish is more than just a special treat to look forward to when the pain won't go away. It gives children a wonderful choice to make all by themselves at a time when most decisions need to be made for them. A wish remains a positive focus throughout long periods of treatment or recuperation and is often remembered as the turning point.

The Peace Fund
The PEACE Fund is a registered 501(c)(3) 'not for profit' charity founded by the Actor Adrian Paul. (Best known for his role as Duncan Macleod in Highlander 'the series').
The PEACE Fund Focuses on small, under-funded and hard-working charities who are determined to make a positive difference to the lives of children living in extraordinarily difficult circumstances.
The words Protect, Educate, and Aid are the focus of the PEACE Fund's goals.
